When you add a report, we store a one-way hash of your IP address (a fingerprint that cannot be turned back into the address), not the IP address itself. We use it only to limit spam and abuse.
Canada Phone Check does not share this hash with anyone, except where the law requires us to disclose it to an authority entitled to receive it. Information may be stored and processed outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the European Union and the United States, by us and by our service providers (Cloudflare for hosting, Google for analytics and Adsterra for advertising).

We do not sell names, email addresses or information about the owners of phone numbers. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
You can opt out at any time. The button below turns off ads and analytics in this browser and keeps them off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically - you do not need to do anything else.
